Founders of Lantern and Compass Project
Over the years we have come to realize that God’s people truly want to serve Him and impact lives for eternity but don’t always have the opportunities or tools. That’s why we founded Lantern and Compass Project (LACP); to cast light and give direction by providing opportunities that will help each person discover how they can meet, love and share God as they serve others.
Terry and her husband are the founders of Lantern and Compass Project. They have two children and 3 grandchildren. Terry is passionate about helping individuals find their purpose and God’s plan for their lives. Her enthusiasm for serving the Lord is contagious and is evident in the 4 cardinal directions of Lantern and Compass.
She knows that the true key to expanding her reach to children is through individuals that want to share their faith with others.
She is a licensed minister and missionary with the Assemblies of God and has over 30 years experience in various areas of children’s ministry.
Rusty is the co-founder of Lantern and Compass Project and is very much the ‘behind the scenes’ person. Rusty provides the support necessary for Terry to flow in her giftedness and is a huge help to the ministry.
He is often the mastermind behind any required building project and when he isn’t helping Terry out with the next project, can be found gardening or hiking.
He enjoys building relationship with the team members and is the one that stays connected via Facebook or text.
